I am pleased to report that all 5 plants are fully operational and we have not had anyone on the Wise team test positive for COVID-19. This enables us to take care of yours and your customers’ needs. I am grateful for the health of our team and their continued efforts to serve you and your customers through this crisis.

We have continued to support our team in taking care of their health in the following ways:

  • Wash their hands for 20 seconds frequently
  • Do not touch their face
  • Maintain social distance
  • Utilize disinfectant spray bottles in their work areas regularly to eliminate viruses
  • We will continue to implement any additional processes to maintain the safely and health of our people as they arise.

Our supply chain is fully operational without any disruptions so there should be no delays in the printing of your orders. We are grateful for the commitment of our suppliers in support of the business that we print together.

In my last email, I wanted to encourage all of us to think about what does this situation make possible now and in the future? There are opportunities in the middle of this that we can work on to better position ourselves and our companies when we emerge from this crisis. We need to consider how we can pivot ourselves and our companies to take advantage of the crisis. Our team stands ready to support you. If you have new ideas, business opportunities or want to discuss how we can work better together please call us. We are in this together.

I am grateful for the trust you have placed in Wise. We are here for you. Please let us know what we can do to help.

Wise’s ongoing efforts to take care of you and your customers.

Wednesday, April 8th 2020

I am writing to provide an update on Wise’s ongoing efforts to take care of you and your customers. At this time I am grateful to report that none of our team members has tested positive for COVID-19 and all 5 plants are fully operational to take care of you and your customers’ needs. I am grateful for the Wise Team and their continued efforts to serve our customers through this crisis.

As part of that effort, we have asked our team to:

  • Wash their hands for 20 seconds frequently
  • Do not touch their face
  • Maintain social distance
  • Utilize disinfectant spray bottles in their work areas regularly to eliminate viruses

We will continue to implement any additional processes to maintain the safety and health of our people as they arise.

Our entire supply chain is fully operational without any disruptions and we are grateful for that. Therefore, there should be no delays in the printing of your orders.

I want you to know that we have 5 plants which gives us the ability to shift work around if we ever needed to temporarily close a facility due to COVID-19 infection. We hope this gives you the confidence to know that we will be here for you continually throughout this crisis until it ends.

In the midst of this crisis, I want to encourage you to consider and ask yourself “What does this make possible?” In spite of the challenges of fewer orders, there are opportunities for all of us to improve so that when we come out of this we will be better people, better companies. Does the extra time you have available give you the opportunity to think about:

  • Where do I want to be or my company to be in 3 years?
  • How do I develop a plan to move in that direction now?
  • What people or companies can help me improve my business to achieve my goals?
  • What do I need to do to build those relationships now to achieve the future I want?

Rarely in our lives do we have the time to slow down and to think about these questions that have the opportunity to help us achieve our goals, realize our dreams, consider the possibilities and increase our satisfaction with the progress of our companies and our jobs.

I want you to know that I am grateful for our relationship with you as well as for the business and the confidence you have placed in Wise. We are here for you. Please let us know what we can do to help.

Covid-19 Shipments, Ship-To Closures &
Temporary Storage of Orders

Tuesday, March 24th 2020

In the event that an order is returned to Wise due to the location being closed, we assume it is due to the Covid-19 virus shutdowns. When the packages/pallets are returned to Wise, we have a designated area in which to put the returns (our storage space availability is limited). We will communicate internally and then our customer service group will contact you informing you that the order was returned to Wise. We will then ask that we be informed in writing when you are sure a delivery can be made. Our CSR’s will let you know all charges will be passed along for redelivery and return but Wise is not going to charge you, our customer, for storage and re-handling of the product.

If your customer is in need of a RUSH on an order in house, Wise will do everything we can to accommodate your request. Please verify with your customer that the product can be delivered prior to asking us fora RUSH.

Please also be aware, that if you ask if we will hold a shipment, please be informed that we will invoice the product and then send it to our offsite warehouse for up to 90 days without charge. When we get the OK from you that we can ship to the end user our CSR’s will take care of the release from our warehouse.

Wise Butler, PA Plant Location Update

Friday, March 20th 2020

Last night the Governor of Pennsylvania issued a mandate that any business that is non-life-sustaining must close operations. Wise believes it is a life-sustaining business and it supports many life-sustaining businesses listed on the Governors list and have determined we are allowed to continue operations. If there are any changes to this position, we will communicate as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support and we wish you continued good health and safety.

Sincerely,

Bill Prettyman
President and CEO

Wise Covid-19 Announcement

Monday, March 16th 2020

As a valued Wise customer, we feel it is important to provide information in response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19). At the core of our response is making sure we are keeping our team members and customers safe. Thus, Wise is taking necessary precautions to keep our workplace as safe as possible and to avoid any spread of the coronavirus. We have asked our team to stay home if sick, to wash their hands frequently and not to touch their face to avoid transmission of the coronavirus if they have been exposed to it.

Relative to our business continuity, we have been in contact with many of our suppliers. Wise is not experiencing any disruption to our supply chain and do not expect that to be an issue, but we will continue to monitor closely. Regarding production, Wise recognizes the need to provide customers the assurance of continuous service and production of business operations following an unexpected disruptive incident. Wise has in place automated systems and processes along with five manufacturing plants to mitigate any service and production disruption.

So, what’s next? Like everyone, we’ll continue to monitor the situation closely and respond accordingly with team member and customer safety our priority. Although we prepare for the worst and expect the best, we anticipate it will be business as usual. A reminder you can view all order information (orders in process, shipping and invoices) and utilize our ROPE report (repeat order predictor engine, orders ready for reorder) at our website or web portal http://wiselink.wbf.com/.

Thank you for your business and continued support of Wise. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly at 770-442-1060 or via email bprettyman@wbf.com.

Sincerely,

Bill Prettyman
President and CEO
