Wise has acquired the assets of Mini Data effective February 29, 2024.
Q. Who is Wise?
A: Wise was founded in 1969 as a trade manufacturer of unit set, continuous, cut sheet and jumbo roll business forms and checks. The company is privately owned by Bill Prettyman and Jeff Prettyman, nephews of the founder, David Wise. Wise products and services include business forms, labels, digital printing, and warehousing. Q: Where is Wise located?
A: Wise is based in Alpharetta, GA with five manufacturing plants located in Alpharetta, GA; Buter, PA; Ft. Wayne, IN; Portland, ME; and Anderson, SC.
Q: How will pricing change?
A: Mini Data exact repeat order pricing will be honored at the same price unless there have been industry increases.

Q: Where should I send payment?
A: If the order was manufactured and invoiced as Mini Data, please remit it to Mini Data. Any order March 1st or after will be manufactured and invoiced by Wise and thus should be remitted to Wise.

Q: Does Wise charge for comp?
A: Generally, no. Exceptions may be if we do multiple revisions or comp for a job we do not produce.
Q: Will my product and packaging look the same?
A: The product will be produced with similar or better-quality papers. The packaging will also be similar; however, the labels will look a little different but contain the same information.
Q: What new opportunities will Wise offer?
A: In addition to high-quality unit set, continuous, cut sheet and jumbo roll business forms and checks, Wise also specializes in prime and durable labels in both long runs and runs as short as one. We offer full personalization, customization, and serialized labels and barcodes, as well as security and RFID labels.
Q: Should I issue a P.O. to Wise or Mini Data?
A: Wise
Q: What are the standard delivery and proof turn times?
A: Standard delivery is 10 working days or less and proof turn times are 1-2 days.
Q: Does Wise sell through distributors or direct?
A: Wise is a trade manufacturer servicing print distributors.
Q: Will the Mini Data plant continue operating after we close the acquisition?
A: The Mini Data plant has ceased operations effective immediately. Mini Data employees were notified on February 29th, and Mini Data orders have been moved to the Wise Alpharetta plant.
