Meet Randy Albertson!
Randy Albertson has been Wise’s Midwest Regional Sales Manager for 15 years. When customers have an unusual need or problem they can’t solve, Randy is the one they call.
“RSMs are troubleshooters,” he says. “My job is to find out where customers’ pain points are and build solutions around them.” It’s a trusted relationship, which is why when a customer recently fled a competitor after waiting days for quotes, Randy was one of his first calls.
Outside of work, Randy’s life is a study in variety. He golfs. He fishes for northern pike with his 89-year-old father. That same father once made a trip to Cooperstown to ensure that young Randy’s name appeared in a book at the Baseball Hall of Fame, where Randy was recognized as a Babe Ruth League player of the year. As Randy likes to say, “Pete Rose isn’t in the Hall of Fame, but I am.”
Then there’s the banjo. An avid bluegrass fan, Randy has always wanted to play well enough to jam with a local band. So when a friend recently mentioned that his band’s 79-year-old banjo player was retiring, Randy upped his practice time.
Randy’s wife, Traci, is a graphic designer. His daughter, Morgan, is an operational scientist. “Morgan got the smarts,” he jokes. “But I got the strings.”
