Print service providers today need to make technology part of their organizations. Unless there is a tech-savvy individual within the structure, companies may not make the most of the many innovations currently revolutionizing the industry.
It’s true that new technologies have changed the way print is sold and produced, from online ordering to new types of presses. However, these innovations don’t implement themselves, and unless service providers have strong internal knowledge, they may not receive the associated benefits.
Tech know-how is the connective tissue between companies’ visions for their offerings and the tech solutions that enable such transformation. Without that internal knowledge, organizations can fall short. With it, they can push ahead of less-prepared competitors.
